Greek electronic composer Tasos P. kicks off 2025 with a powerful new release. Out now via FM Records, ‘Ayae’ sees him join forces with lyricist and remixer Christos Koutroufinis, aka ChristosK, on a track that blends Afro rhythms with deep electronic energy. Released on 19 May across all digital platforms, ‘Ayae’ is a rich, layered production built on tribal percussion, organic instrumentation and atmospheric textures. It feels raw but polished, ancient but forward-facing. It’s not just a track - it’s a full-body listening experience.
‘Ayae’ has made an immediate impact. It premiered on BBC Music Introducing and, in the same week, debuted at number 17 on the UK Dance Chart - a strong sign that the duo’s fusion of traditional and modern sounds is resonating beyond borders.
Tasos P. brings a decade of experience to the table. He’s released three albums, five EPs, and 27 singles on FM Records. His music has topped the IFPI Greece charts and found success across Europe and the UK.
Internationally, he’s earned eight medals at the Global Music Awards in California and reached the semifinals of the International Songwriting Competition in Nashville four years running. His tracks have appeared on MTV and in multiple BBC Music Introducing playlists.
One of his most significant recent moments came with ‘Save You’, a collaboration with ChristosK, which became a finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest and hit the UK Top 40 Downloads Chart.
Since summer 2023, Tasos P. has also been a voting member of the Grammy Awards jury.
