TACHIAN step into view with ‘OVERGREEN’, the debut single from a new project built on experience, craft and a clear forward-leaning vision. Sitting between leftfield electronica, ambient mood and UK-rooted rhythm, the track sets the tone for what the duo stands for from the outset.
‘OVERGREEN’ blends pulsing low end with drifting vocal textures and granular synth work, creating something that feels introspective and emotional while remaining club adjacent. The groove never forces itself forward. Instead, it moves with restraint, allowing texture and atmosphere to guide the track’s momentum. The result feels equally suited to late-night listening and low-light dancefloor moments.
UK electronic lineage runs through the track without becoming overt. There are subtle nods to future garage, IDM and experimental club culture, expressed through sound design rather than structure. Every element feels placed with intent, rewarding close listening and reinforcing a sense of depth and space.
Behind the project are Adam Learoyd and Nick Clarke, two producers with more than 20 years of combined experience in a shared creative space. Nick’s background spans live engineering, studio production, and large-scale festival environments, including three consecutive years working on the Avalon Stage at Glastonbury Festival. That technical grounding is reflected in the track’s balance and clarity.
Adam brings a global perspective shaped by his work as a Druid, where he has amassed over 30 million streams through lo-fi hip-hop releases and collaborations across the electronic community, including a full-length album with eevee.
TACHIAN represents the meeting point of those journeys. ‘OVERGREEN’ feels less like an introduction and more like a statement of intent, presenting immersive and emotive electronic music shaped by deep technical understanding and a shared desire to push beyond established boundaries. It is a debut that signals confidence, patience and a strong sense of direction.
