Space 92 and Charles D Team Up for Debut Collab 'The Bouncer' on Drumcode

Two men in sunglasses face each other. One wears a hat, the other has “Balenciaga” on his glasses. Background is a bright, lit setting.

Two techno heavyweights collide as Space 92 and Charles D drop their first-ever collaboration, 'The Bouncer', out today on Drumcode. Buy/Stream: https://drumcode.ffm.to/dcx010.

Sampling the iconic line from Kicks Like a Mule’s 90s rave anthem, this Peak Time belter is built for packed summer dancefloors. Sharp, punchy kicks, acid-laced stabs, hoover synths and that unforgettable vocal – “Y’name’s not down, you’re not coming in” – all come together in a high-energy, no-nonsense club tool with serious charm.

French producer Space 92 has been ruling the Peak Time Techno charts since 2020, landing multiple #1s with his acid-tinged, sci-fi-inspired sound. His 2023 Drumcode single ‘Time’ turned heads, and he’s since launched his own label TAKEOFF.

Charles D, born in Italy and now based in NYC, brings a progressive edge to his techno. With standout releases on Pryda Presents, Factory 93, and a run of Beatport-charting tracks, he’s cemented his spot as one to watch. Drumcode fans will recognise his recent tracks ‘Yantee’ and ‘Don’t Stop’, both festival favourites.

Together, Space 92 and Charles D channel rave nostalgia through a modern lens. ‘The Bouncer’ blends cheeky charm with high-impact production – a sound both playful and pounding.
