Diving into 2026 with a touch of class, Sweden’s Rasmus Faber reveals a superb new two tracker release on his own Farplane label, setting the tone for more quality grooves to come in year ahead. The EP title track, ‘Too Little Too Late’, moves with a feel-good loose funky swing, the kind that feels effortless but lands with absolute Faber precision. Soft, seductive, melodic phrases drift in and out, whilst the dreamy vocal touches are light and airy, almost like they are breathing along with the groove. As the track unfolds, the layers build in a way that feels organic with a warm powered by an uplifting pulse that’s perfect to shake off any gloomy winter blues!
‘My Body’ takes a different Latin inspired route, but stays firmly in Rasmus territory. The percussion rolls with a relaxed confidence, giving the track a natural lift. A bright jazzy hook cuts through the mix, playful and catchy, whilst the funky bassline keeps everything grounded, moving with a steady funky vibe adding a drive. There is a sense of celebration in the arrangement, a feeling that the track is built to raise the energy in a room. Together, the two tracks form a release that feels polished, warm and full of character.
'Too Little, Too Late' continues the momentum Faber built through 2025 as he reconnected with the roots of his sound on Farplane. Releases like ‘Seem To Last’, ‘Esta Loca’, ‘Pra Mim’ and ‘How Do You Do’ marked a return to soulful grooves, live instrumentation and the rhythmic language that shaped his early work. This EP shows that this renewed focus is not a nostalgia trip, but a forward step for the Latin House genre that Rasmus helped to create.
