Barcelona’s Mostra marks five years in 2026 with its most ambitious edition to date. Running from 12 to 15 March, the independent festival lands earlier than usual, becoming the city’s first major electronic event of the year and setting the tone between winter and spring.
Over four days, Mostra delivers more than 35 hours of music, with a strict 1,000-capacity per day and a single-stage format. No clashes. No rushing. Just space to listen and dance with intent.
The opening ceremony on Thursday takes place at Casa Montjuïc, focusing on immersive live performances from Dania and Rupert Clervaux presenting Acción y Destino, plus The Transcendence Orchestra, the project uniting Dan Bean and techno figure Tony Surgeon.
From Friday onwards, the festival moves to the Vall d’Hebron Olympic Pavilion, transforming the landmark venue into a dedicated space for underground club culture. Sets run until 3am on Friday and Saturday, with expanded outdoor areas and a carefully paced programme that shifts from introspective sound design to driving techno and breaks.
Live highlights include Substance and Vainqueur with Patrick Russell, Surgeon alongside Steve Bicknell, and upsammy with Angel Molina. Local artist ABSIS presents Atàvic with Estrato Aurora, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to Barcelona’s scene.

Alongside the music, Mostra’m hosts debates and workshops spotlighting France as the guest country, while the Fair at Vall d’Hebron brings together independent labels, collectives and publishers.
Independent and non-profit, Mostra continues to offer a focused alternative to Barcelona’s macro festival circuit.
