Mellizos step into the Undrscovered mix series at a point where momentum is no longer theoretical. Their music is already moving through clubs worldwide, carried by selectors who trust groove above hype.

The Texas-based twin brothers began producing at just 13 years old, approaching music with focus from the outset. “We started producing music at 13 years old. Downloaded FL Studio and started messing around in it,” they explain. That early commitment paid off quickly. “It only took a couple years until we started getting interest from small labels and artists. This solid production foundation at a young age boosted us to where we are now.”

Their sound reflects that discipline. Nothing feels rushed or overstated. “A blend of deep, percussive house grooves with a modern, minimal twist,” they say. “Hypnotic rhythms, funky basslines and crisp drums, tailor-made for dancefloors and sunsets alike.”

Influence comes less from trends and more from structure and intent. Franky Rizardo’s Listen To Flow ethos stands out as a reference point. “The way everything just comes together in Franky’s sets and his aesthetic has influenced our outlook on modern house music.”

That outlook shapes their Undrscovered mix directly. Rather than leaning on familiar records, Mellizos chose to present a fully self-contained statement. “The mix is a 100 percent Mellizos ID mix that all have support among the big names in the industry,” they explain. “We wanted to really convey that our sound is worth watching out for.”

The mix lands alongside one of their most important releases to date, the ‘Get Lit’ EP with Alex Atenciano on Hottrax. The collaboration marked a clear step forward, both creatively and in visibility. Atenciano described the release as “one of the most dreamt-of releases of my career,” while Mellizos point to ‘Sabor De Noche’ as a defining moment. “When it got played by PAWSA, it was the first breakthrough we had and a sign that we found a sound that was truly ours.” Buy/Stream 'Get Lit' here: https://orcd.co/hxt156.

Beyond Hottrax, December also brought ‘La Partay’, released on Mr Belt & Wezol’s new label. Despite the imprint being brand new, the track had already been championed for over four months by Franky Rizardo, appearing in nearly every one of his sets, alongside heavy support from Fisher, Marco Carola, Luciano, The Martinez Brothers, Cloonee and others.

Looking ahead, the duo remains focused on consistency rather than spectacle. “We have a ton of unreleased tracks circulating amongst the biggest names in the scene,” they say. “We’re working with very big names on upcoming projects and shows.”

This Undrscovered mix captures Mellizos in a moment of clarity. A defined sound. A growing catalogue. And a clear understanding that progress comes from staying locked into the music, not the noise around it.
