Sol Selectas presents a majestic organic house release by Medusa Odyssey and Soberboy, who are collaborating for the first time.
The tracks on this release are a combination of musicianship and studio production, as they link flutes, synths, and an electric santoor. Their melodic grooves are held steady by powerful drums, while Persian vocals add heartfelt emotions.
Medusa Odyssey are a duo from Argentina that have spent years living in Ibiza, where they play at many of the Island's best underground parties and large-scale events. Their DJ shows blend live instruments, and they play hybrid sets that see them improvise original tracks as part of the performance. In addition to their previous releases on Sol Selectas, Medusa Odyssey have also featured on other imprints such as Exotic Refreshment, Pipe & Pochet, and Sudam Recordings. They are also famed for their work writing and performing backing tracks for legendary Persian singer, Bahramji.
Soberboy is a pioneering electronic music artist from Dubai, who for the last 15 years has been helping ignite the city's nightlife scene. He has showcased his storytelling DJ style at hundreds of venues in Dubai, and in 2025 dropped his debut release of original music via Yumsong Records. This is only Soberboy's third official release, but already he is making waves as a music producer.
The title track, "Ze Del" layers clinking percussion and haunting melodies with cinematic vocals to create a melodic groove with epic tension.
"Can't Sleep" has an expansive sound where sweeping pads and spellbinding vocals are stretched over a deep bass and shuffling drum rhythms.
The artwork by Helia Jamali, portrays the feelings of the heart, adorned in ancient Persian tiles and the iconic lion symbol.
