Italian producer Luca Rezza makes his debut on Junior Jack’s Adesso Music imprint with ‘1 Thing’, a driving house production that combines tightly programmed percussion, gospel-inspired vocal samples and an infectious sense of swing. Landing on 23rd October, the release marks another step forward for an artist whose productions have been gaining considerable attention across the international club circuit.

Rezza has built momentum through releases on respected imprints including Toolroom and Blackflag Recordings, with his music earning support from Cloonee, Wade, Michael Bibi and David Guetta. His productions have also reached some of electronic music’s biggest stages, featuring in sets at Coachella, Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.

On ‘1 Thing’, that growing reputation is channelled into a groove-focused arrangement designed for the dancefloor. Choppy rhythms and precise drum programming establish the track’s rhythmic foundations, while a deep, driving bassline provides the low-end weight needed to maintain its momentum.

The gospel vocal samples introduce a contrasting element, bringing a sense of euphoria to an otherwise tightly controlled production. Their punchy delivery adds character to the groove without overwhelming the percussion, creating a balance between rhythmic restraint and more expressive musical elements.

It is a combination that feels particularly suited to Adesso Music. Founded by Junior Jack, the imprint provides a natural setting for Rezza’s approach to contemporary house, where carefully constructed grooves and memorable vocal elements remain central to the music’s dancefloor appeal.

Rather than relying on elaborate breakdowns or dramatic changes in direction, ‘1 Thing’ places its emphasis on the interaction between rhythm, bass and vocal sampling. The result is a direct, energetic club production that reflects Rezza’s growing confidence within the house music landscape.

With his first release on Adesso Music, Luca Rezza continues to build on an increasingly prominent catalogue, delivering a track that connects underground house sensibilities with the immediacy of contemporary club music.
