LEGO and Daft Punk have announced a new creative partnership that will bring the French duo’s visual world into physical products, content and other brand experiences. At the centre of the announcement is a fan-designed set inspired by the famous pyramid stage from the ‘Alive 2007’ tour.

The project originated with a LEGO Ideas submission created by Patrick Harboun and his son. Their design won the Music to Our Ears challenge in 2020 and later attracted enough community support to progress through LEGO’s review process. The company has now confirmed that the concept will enter official product development.

A promotional film introduces the collaboration through LEGO versions of Daft Punk’s robot personas. The characters follow a glowing red brick into a transforming environment before appearing behind a brick-built console, with ‘Voyager’ and ‘Human After All’ providing the soundtrack.

The pyramid has long been one of electronic music’s most recognisable stage designs. Recreating it in LEGO form connects the duo’s visual legacy with a hands-on fan community, while the partnership points to further creative projects beyond a single collectible set.

Importantly, the design currently shown is a fan concept rather than a confirmed final retail product. LEGO has not yet announced a price, piece count or release date, and changes may be made during development.

Further information is expected in 2027. For now, the announcement offers a new way to revisit Daft Punk’s live legacy without suggesting that the duo, who separated in 2021, are returning to the stage.
