K.MARTIN brings a fresh creative shift with ‘Subharmonics Fields’, his new EP for Not Play Records. After more than a decade shaping his place in Spain’s underground scene, he arrives with a project that feels sharper and more self-assured. Two original tracks show a clear evolution in his sound while still carrying the groove, darkness and hypnotic pull he is known for.

He describes the EP as a reflection of “that magnetic underground energy that connects with your instincts and draws you in without resistance.” That feeling sits at the heart of the opening track, ‘Gravitational Anomaly’. The movement starts with looping kicks, tight textures and a bassline that sits low but never fades. A rising alarm tone cuts through the layers as the groove expands. The pressure builds, then shifts, then builds again. The track keeps you locked in through subtle changes that hold the tension without breaking the flow.

David Mallada takes the idea into a deeper corner with his remix of ‘Gravitational Anomaly’. He pulls the alarm tone forward and strengthens the loop, turning the track into a heavier tool aimed at long, hypnotic moments in the club. It works cleanly on its own or inside more immersive sets built on repetition and control.

The second original cut, ‘Silent Collapse’, moves differently. It unfolds slowly. The melody and bassline create a tense atmosphere that feels ready to fall apart, yet the textures hold it all together. Midway through, the energy softens. Airy pads rise through the mix, guiding you towards a moment that feels close to release. They gently fold back into the rhythm, keeping the focus on tension until the end.

Pert shifts the track into sharper territory with his remix of ‘Silent Collapse’. The deeper bass and gritty layers give it a bolder character. The energy carries a darker edge that suits late-night rooms where the mood is tight and the crowd wants something more daring.

‘Subharmonics Fields’ marks more than another EP for K.MARTIN. It shows an artist refining his identity as he steps into a more confident space. The originals feel personal and intentional. The remixes broaden the atmosphere and offer two distinct interpretations that remain true to the project’s spirit.

Not Play Records continues to strengthen its place in the scene, and this release feels like a statement moment for both label and artist. With club support already building, ‘Subharmonics Fields’ looks set to land across rooms that favour tension, movement and a deeper strain of techno energy.
