Gorgon City have announced their sixth studio album, ‘Aether’, arriving on 13th November 2026 through their own REALM Records imprint. The twelve-track project marks a significant change for the British electronic duo, becoming their first independently released album following five full-length projects issued through Universal-affiliated labels.

For Kye Gibbon and Matt Robson-Scott, the move represents an opportunity to take greater control of their creative direction. Having built an international following through their distinctive combination of house rhythms, melodic songwriting and vocal collaborations, the pair have approached ‘Aether’ without the external pressures associated with their previous album campaigns.

“Aether came together so naturally, with no outside pressure,” the duo explained when announcing the project.

The album follows 2024’s ‘Reverie’ and features contributions from several established collaborators, including Caroline Byrne, Maximillian, Cloves and Jem Cooke. Its twelve tracks include ‘Only Love’ featuring Byrne, ‘Powerless’ with Maximillian, ‘Everything Started Changing’ featuring Cloves and ‘Oracle’ with Cooke.

Alongside those vocal collaborations, the tracklist includes ‘5AM At Bagleys’, ‘Ascending to a Higher Level’ and ‘Can’t Get Over’, suggesting a project that continues to connect Gorgon City’s club-focused foundations with their more melodic songwriting.

The release also arrives ahead of a major London headline performance at Alexandra Palace on 28th November, where the duo will unveil a new live show. The performance marks their return to the venue with a live production for the first time since 2019.

With REALM Records now providing a home for their own full-length work, ‘Aether’ opens a new chapter in Gorgon City’s career, placing creative independence at the centre of their next release.

‘Aether’ arrives on 13th November 2026 via REALM Records.
