EXIT and P+US to debut Starlight Festival at the Pyramids of Giza this October

EXIT Festival is heading to Egypt this autumn with the launch of a brand-new event series, Starlight Festival, set to take place from October 8–11 near the Great Pyramids of Giza.
The new multi-day festival marks the latest stop in EXIT's growing international expansion and will see the Serbian festival brand partner with Egypt-based entertainment company Venture Lifestyle and its electronic music platform P+US.
Leading the inaugural lineup is Charlotte de Witte, who will make her first-ever performance in Egypt, alongside Michael Bibi, who is also set to play the iconic location for the first time. Adriatique returns to Giza after previously drawing close to 10,000 people for a landmark performance at the historic site.
The bill also features Vintage Culture, Pete Tong, WhoMadeWho and Enrico Sangiuliano, with dozens of additional regional and international artists set to appear across the four-day programme.
Starlight's main festival events will take place on October 9 and 10, with opening and closing parties spread across selected venues throughout Cairo. Organisers say the event will feature more than five stages and experience zones, alongside one of the world's most advanced virtual reality installations, first unveiled at Expo Dubai.
While the Great Pyramids of Giza will provide the backdrop, the festival itself will take place from a specially designated site adjacent to the UNESCO World Heritage landmark, in line with regulations protecting one of the world's most significant archaeological locations.
The launch represents a significant moment for electronic music in the MENA region, bringing together one of the strongest international dance lineups Egypt has hosted in recent years while further positioning Cairo as a growing destination for music tourism.
Speaking on the announcement, EXIT founder and CEO Dušan Kovačević said the project aligns with the festival's long-standing mission of combining large-scale cultural experiences with international exchange.
"It is a great honour to bring our festival concept near one of the most important monuments in human history," he said. "This project gives us an opportunity to celebrate Egypt's extraordinary cultural heritage while connecting it with a global audience through music."
The festival is being co-produced by Venture Lifestyle, the company behind a number of major events in the region, including Anyma's Quantum Genesys showcase at the Pyramids of Giza through its electronic music platform P+US.
With Charlotte de Witte, Michael Bibi and Adriatique leading the charge, Starlight Festival arrives as one of the most ambitious new electronic music events announced for the region in 2026.
