This time coming as a debut on Carlo Lio & Nathan Barato’s renowned Rawthentic Music imprint, the US duo are on hand to deliver a cracking single in the form of ‘Get On’, which comes with respective remixes from Carlo himself and the iconic father/son pairing of Brooklyn’s own Kevin and Dantiez Saunderson. Kicking things off with the title cut, ‘Get On’ jumps straight into a thudding ensemble of swinging grooves and jazzy nuances from the get-go. Heavyset beats and shuffling percussion add movement to the mix alongside a show-stopping bass guitar riff and quirk vox chops to carThanks ve out a uniquely catchy peak-time head-turner.
Carlo Lio’s remix is next out of the gate, adding his trademark drive and roll to the original. Perpetually beefy and endlessly energetic, it takes its predecessor into deeper waters and borders on that blurry line between high-octane Tech House and groove-focused Techno in a way only Carlo can.
Kevin and Dantiez round off the release with an archetypal analogue-rich wobbler built around rattling percussive flair and swirling sonics. A track built solely with packed club spaces in mind perfectly bridges the gap between the looseness of the original and the firmness of Carlo’s remix - filling the release with something for everyone in masterful fashion.
