Airtime continues to refine its dancefloor identity with AT033, welcoming Brussels-based producer Enrico Dragoni for the ‘Feel The Music’ EP, backed with a remix from Dr. Shemp.
Born in Strasbourg and now rooted in Brussels, Dragoni has spent the last decade shaping a sound informed by 90s house and garage, alongside a deep appreciation for the warmth of 70s music. Since starting out in 2015, he has moved fluidly between house and underground UKG, releasing under aliases including Pure Sleek, Gordon Zola and Dub Sensation. His tracks have found support from selectors such as Jeremy Underground, Dr Banana, Eris Drew, Brawther and Enzo Siragusa, signalling a producer who understands club nuance rather than chasing trends.
On ‘Feel The Music’, Dragoni leans into a house framework with a melodic touch that feels measured rather than indulgent. Tight drum programming, rolling low end and subtle harmonic flourishes keep the focus locked on movement. The EP does not overcomplicate its intent. It is built for the floor, guided by swing and feel, with enough warmth to give it character beyond utility.
The release also marks a return to Airtime’s core ethos. Rather than sticking to rigid genre boundaries, the label doubles down on groove-led craftsmanship. These are tools first and foremost, but with personality baked in.
Dr. Shemp’s remix shifts the title track into deeper UKG territory. He increases the rhythmic tension and pushes the bass pressure forward, offering a heads-down alternative that contrasts neatly with the original’s house sensibility.
Beyond his solo output, Dragoni remains active within the wider scene as one half of Stab Mechanics and a member of the Bumpy Ride collective, through which he runs a label, curates parties and hosts a radio show. ‘Feel The Music’ sits comfortably within that ecosystem, reinforcing his reputation as a producer focused on substance, swing and long-term dancefloor impact.
