DJ Hussler continues his 2025 resurgence with the release of his latest single ‘Got No Love To The Bass’, out now via UFO Recordz. Built for peak-time impact, the new track draws directly from the harder edges of trance and rave culture, combining driving basslines, euphoric synth work and high-intensity rhythms into a package that is unapologetically floor-focused. It is a release that reaches back to classic rave energy without sounding anchored to the past, striking a balance between nostalgia and forward motion.

Based in Sydney, DJ Hussler’s story stretches far beyond the Australian scene. His early years were shaped by the UK and European underground, importing records and influences into the South African rave circuit throughout the 1990s before eventually relocating to the UK. It was there that his identity as a hard dance DJ formed fully, immersed in a culture led by some of the genre’s defining figures including Tony De Vit, BK, Andy Farley, Nick Sentience, Phil Reynolds, Illogic, Fergie and Paul Glazby. That period left a permanent imprint on both his sound and his approach, grounded in melody, pressure and emotional release.

His DJ career began unexpectedly after a friend entered him into a national competition without his knowledge. Hussler went on to win the Southern England heats and reach the finals, a moment that accelerated his involvement in the scene and opened the door to wider recognition. Appearances at established events quickly followed, including Orange at London’s Camden Palace and Insomniacz in Sheffield.

After stepping away from music for several years, Hussler returned in 2025 with renewed focus and a refreshed production identity that honours his roots while embracing modern sound design. His current output channels the intensity of early hard dance through a contemporary lens, favouring momentum and melody over trend-driven production.

Alongside releases, he also joined Groove London Radio in May 2025, hosting a weekly Friday show that connects house, tech house and hard dance for a global audience.

‘Got No Love To The Bass’ stands as a clear statement in this new chapter, reaffirming DJ Hussler’s commitment to high-energy dance music built for real rooms and real reactions.
