DJ Dove Lands Debut Toolroom Release With ‘Lonely No More’

New York house mainstay DJ Dove makes his Toolroom debut with Lonely No More’, a driving, disco-flecked rework of Val Young’s mid-’80s classic ‘If You Should Ever Be Lonely’. Anchored by a punchy groove, rolling bassline and slick brass stabs, Dove’s update injects fresh energy into a timeless vocal cut, brilliant crafted for today’s disco house dance floors.

A fixture in the underground for decades, Barbarito Capote, aka DJ Dove, has collaborated with DJ Disciple, Inaya Day, Sandy Rivera, and Junior Sanchez, with releases spanning Nervous, Soulfuric Trax, Stealth, King Street Sounds, and more. Nearly twenty years after first appearing on Toolroom’s debut compilation, Dove returns with a standout addition to the label’s catalogue.
