Charlie Sparks’ ELEKTRA imprint reaches its tenth release with NEW WORLD, a various artists compilation featuring a selection of high-energy tracks from emerging and established names in hard techno, acid and trance, all curated by the boss himself.
Sparks is blazing a trail with his genre-blending sets of hard, high impact acid, rave and techno and is one of the fastest-rising stars in the underground. Here he curates a collection that reflects the label’s commitment to that same high-intensity sound.
The compilation opens with 'Haunted By Your Love' by Mark Walker (UK) x Naij who deliver rapid-fire rhythms and rave-ready synth work. David Rust and RENY contribute powerful solo entries that lean into the harder edges of techno, while NMO’s 'Break Stuff' layers searing synths over a driving, distorted low end. Fabio Red & Akoriz and Tovar also appear on 'Everything You Want' and ‘Loca’, elsewhere Tom Whitfield's 'Time to Run' channels high-energy psytrance, and R3CKLESS rounds out the release with a peak-time techno cut built for late-night intensity.
NEW WORLD is available now on ELEKTRA and continues the label’s run of top-tier sounds and spotlighting a new wave of producers in the harder, faster corners of club music.
