Charles D steps up to remix Cristoph's I Will Find You on Consequence of Society

Hot off the back of Beatport chart topping and Spotify Techno Bunker playlist featured releases on Adam Beyer’s revered Drumcode imprint, Charles D, the USA based Techno stalwart, steps up to deliver a remix of Cristoph’s ‘I Will Find You’ on his Consequence Of Society Recordings.

Charles D will be heading off across North America for a tour throughout the upcoming summer including an eight hour set at the legendary Stereo in Montreal and has just launched his own imprint KONKRTE Records. Talking to the remix he tells us ‘’Cris and I have been friends for years, and I’ve always respected him as a producer. I’ve been a fan of this track, especially the vocal sample, ‘I will find you’, since I first heard it. He told me a remix package was in the works, and last summer, he sent over the stems. I dove right in from there.’’ The remix itself captures the essence of Cristoph’s original, extracting fragments of the core raw, melodic feel while Charles D stamps his own signature style on things with the gritty bass, crisp drums, and a dynamically unfolding structure.
