Beatport has announced the Beatport Next Class of 2026, continuing its long running artist development programme designed to identify and support emerging talent across the global electronic music scene.
Launched in 2021, Beatport Next has grown into a recognised career launchpad, offering selected artists a year-long ecosystem of support. This includes curated playlist placement, editorial coverage, social media campaigns and live performance opportunities, all aimed at helping artists build sustainable, long-term careers.
The programme’s impact is already well established. Previous Beatport Next alumni include Nia Archives, Logic1000, TSHA, HoneyLuv and Ahadadream, many of whom have gone on to headline festivals and shape contemporary club culture.
Now in its sixth year, the 2026 edition attracted a record number of applications. The final selection reflects a wide range of sounds, backgrounds and approaches, unified by originality and forward momentum. According to Beatport’s Director of Artist Marketing, Teresa Aramburu, the programme remains a key pillar in supporting the DJ and producer community, championing artists actively shaping the future of electronic music.
The Beatport Next Class of 2026 features ATRIP, BLUMITSU, Cole Knight, D Stone, DJ_Dave, Jennifer Loveless, Kikelomo, Maara, Omar+, Rosey Gold, Sam Alfred and WOST.
Together, the class represents a cross section of contemporary club culture, from acid house and techno to R&B-infused club music and Global South rhythms. With Beatport Next continuing to expand its reach and influence, the Class of 2026 stands as a clear statement of where electronic music is heading next.
