Max Chapman returns to his own Hush Records imprint with the ‘Twenty Ten EP’, marking a full-circle moment almost exactly one year after launching the label with its inaugural release.

Since then, both Chapman and Hush Records have continued building momentum, establishing the imprint as a home for no-nonsense house music designed with the dancefloor firmly in mind. The new EP reinforces that approach across two club-focused cuts, with ‘High With You’ standing out as the release’s most immediate moment.

Built around infectious piano stabs, driving drums and a rolling groove, ‘High With You’ wastes little time getting to the point. Chapman strips the arrangement back to its essentials, allowing the rhythm section and melodic hooks to do the heavy lifting. The result is a track that feels effortless in execution but highly effective in practice.

The groove remains front and centre throughout, with subtle variations and carefully placed vocal touches maintaining momentum without distracting from the track’s primary purpose. It is the kind of record designed for peak-time club moments, where energy and movement matter more than excess complexity.

Alongside it, title track ‘Twenty Ten’ takes a slightly different approach, revolving around a tightly controlled vocal hook and driving house framework. Together, the two tracks showcase the consistency that has become synonymous with Chapman’s production style over the years.

As one of the UK’s most respected house music producers, Chapman has built a reputation for delivering records that balance underground credibility with genuine dancefloor impact. His releases regularly find support across the global house scene thanks to their straightforward, functional approach and undeniable groove.

‘High With You’ continues that tradition perfectly. Punchy, energetic and packed with infectious house music attitude, it demonstrates why Chapman remains one of the genre’s most reliable club-focused producers while also highlighting the continued growth of Hush Records as an imprint.
